1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Kalkido ("the App"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you are a parent or guardian agreeing on behalf of a child, you confirm you have the authority to do so.
2. Description of Service
Kalkido is an educational math practice application designed for children in grades K through 5 (ages 5–12). The App offers both free and premium subscription tiers.
3. Free and Premium Tiers
- Free tier: Limited to 30 practice problems per day, addition and subtraction operations, 1 child profile, and basic parent dashboard.
- Premium tier: Unlimited practice, all math operations, up to 5 child profiles, full analytics dashboard, and access to all game modes.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
- Premium subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Subscription plans include monthly, annual, and lifetime options.
- Annual plans include a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your App Store or Play Store account settings.
- Refunds are handled according to Apple App Store or Google Play Store refund policies.
5. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
- Kalkido is designed for children and complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
- We do not collect personal information from children without parental consent.
- All child data (name, grade, practice history) is stored locally on the device and is not transmitted to external servers.
- Analytics data collected is anonymous and cannot identify individual children.

6. User Content and Data
- All practice data, profiles, and progress are stored locally on your device.
- We are not responsible for data loss due to device failure, app deletion, or other circumstances.
- You are responsible for backing up your device.
7. Acceptable Use
- The App is intended for educational purposes only.
- You agree not to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the App or its content.
- You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, design, graphics, and code in Kalkido are owned by the developer and protected by intellectual property laws. The Kalkido name and logo are trademarks of the developer.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
- The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
- We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
- Educational content is designed to supplement, not replace, formal education.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes through an in-app notice.
